University of Falmouth
I am continually fascinated by the contrasting structures that make up the campus here in Penryn. Falmouth University is made up of two campuses, one in Falmouth formally known as 'Woodlane' and one in Penryn formally known as 'Tremough' .
The site consists of 70 acres and the original building was once a convent school for the local community. It was purchased in 1988 and is now a joint University Campus for both Falmouth and Exeter, it also includes Cambourne School of Mines and the Council's Innovation Centre. The buildings contrast with the Convent School building which is still used as part of the campus.
This image is part of the photography building which houses the studio's, darkrooms, Post processing suites and the stores.
