What in the world???

Does anyone know what this flowering plant is called. It's quite a common plant here in Discovery Bay and today as I walked past, I thought it might make for an interesting blip. I have no idea what it is. But it's pink and pretty and that's all that matters, really!

Cleaning day today and a little more tomorrow, so I've been indoors most of this beautiful sunny day we had.

Today was an eventful day for our older son Jon as he had an interview for a job placement in a huge multi-cultural/multi-million dollar corporation, ahem ... The Peninsula!!! And he got the job, yay!! They even want him to come for a second week. All Business Studies students (from their school) have to do a week's work placement here in HK and then the school takes them for a week's work placement overseas. I'm so excited as I too went for my first interview at 17 and got the job!! I did turn 18 a few weeks later though.

Anyway, besides that bit of good news, I actually went to Pilates today after ages. It felt so good and yet so painful too. But I'm glad I went, it can only help, right?

So, thankful for opportunities that come our way and make for our very full lives.
