Open water

As cold as its been, we still have open water on Lake Superior. There's been a strong east wind which has blown what was there out.
I drove up to the mall for a walk today and was a little nervous when I saw temporary steel beams holding up the roof inside. Too much snow on the roof. One would think they would have started shoveling after the first heavy snowfall we had. Now they'll not only have to pay for the shoveling but for roof repairs also.
