Listed and Surviving

Unlike my entry "Friday 7 February 2014: It's Got to Go" this listed building in the centre of town is having care lavished on it. The exterior is taken back to basic stonework and it will be given a rendered finish. The contrast between the council, acknowledging its inability to find a purpose for the imposing listed factory building and the obviously expensive commitment of the owners of the Kirk Wynd property is startling and salutary.
