Behing the Props

As the winter holiday is on and we are off duty - and had the possibility to visit the studios of Uusi Päivä, we of course did go there.

The Uusi Päivä is a drama series begun in YLETV2 on october 2010, here is a trailer of the 4th season, which is now broadcasted (I hope the trailer can be watched in youtube worldwide). The drama series is broadcasted three days a week durind autumn and spring in YLETV2

The studios is quite cosy building 1200m2 lagre and props built on two floors - and the indoor area were under cleaning today, only few workers of the Story team and some Editors were on location.

I bought some jasmin tea and a packet of bisquits to my friend as she was so nice and took us an hour tour around the studios.

In the blip there is a stream Virtaus, a fictional river where by the drama Uusi Päivä is located on the fictional city named Virtaus. It was very hard to decide what am I able to show you from the prop, so I decided finally to publish this shot. You see - they are now shooting the episodes to autumn 2014, and so it is not good to show any rooms of the story...

In the afternoon my husband came home and he now has rest of the week off, time to relax... I did not ask him to come to the studios on his vacant days, as he has been working there sometimes.
