A Sedge or Siege of Herons.
This morning we went back along part of the Stirling/Doune road and stopped off to take a few photos of the flooded fields. We spotted a group of herons who promptly flapped off to a safer location. However, they did not go far enough and here are four of them with a further two about fifty yards along to the right. The river Teith is responsible for this inundated acreage and shows no sign of easing off yet.
A good family lunch followed and the two little ones had a great time chasing each other round the room.
