Mountain Hare

I had a bit of a hike up Bleaklow in the Peak District this morning. It was bright but blowing a gale on the top.

Not daft, this Hare was sheltering and stood or in fact sat its ground. It was such a good model I only took a couple of shots and left it in peace.

The next Hares I saw all saw me first and decided to sprint up the hill I did get one good action shot this one ran and ran out of sight

Very few birds around only 1 Lapwing and 1 Kestrel but there were two Skylarks trying to out sing each other over the howl of the wind
