Overflowing lake

Had work in the Lakes so took Misty with me and afterwards we went to Bassenthwaite where we sat patiently in the car for a long time in the hope that it might stop raining. It did eventually stop for a short while so we got a walk and thank goodness I had wellies with me as the lake was overflowing. I've never seen the lake like this before and it was not possible to walk any real distance as the path was submerged and I wasn't going to risk wading through the water with my track record :) Once home, the sun was shining :)
