When people ask me why I am still here after sixteen years, I always give the same response :-
"My wonderful colleagues and my adorable students." Love them all. Here are two of my adorables. Twin adorables actually.


Freezing cold rain @ 4ºC blowing across my face in the horizontal 35kph wind with such force that visibility from the library windows across the Bosphorus was almost zero. Usually a lovely view. So glad all I had to do after the Dept Heads meeting was take the short walk home whereupon Alison and I chewed the cud and put the world to rights, or at least, our world, for a couple of hours.
