Unexpected flowers.

Eoghan's actual birthday today and a day off work We've had a lovely six days with mum in respite. Collected her today and she was bright and cheerful if tired. Steak dinner with champagne - YUM. Eoghan presented me with these flowers as a thank you for his birthday celebrations and"an excess of presents"! I think he has been astonished and genuinely moved by the high regard he is held in and how much people have wanted to celebrate his 50th. All over now until next weekend when we are having a lunch out on Saturday with his mum, identical twin brother and his partner. Sunday is lunch here with my mum ,brother ,sister in law and niece and her boyfriend. More good food and laughs. I'm looking forward to a bit of abstinence!!
