Snowflakes
A lovely gardening day today. Started off really nice and I wondered if I should have been in the hills but the wind soon got up very strong again. Luckily at least some of the garden was quite sheltered and I was able to experiment with my new macro/wide angle lens. It was only £20 for the two. It screws onto the filter thread of an existing lens to form the wide angle lens and you then remove part of it to make it into the macro. Quite pleased with the results. I took this and also some close ups of a newt I found which I very nearly used but this one got it in the end. I like the snowflakes as they seem to be more robust than snowdrops and do well in my poor sandy soil.
