I came down with the flu late Friday evening. Couldn't believe how fast the fever set in. My skin felt as if all the moisture had been blasted by a hot wind and my lungs are burning too. So, I've spent most of the weekend snoozing and working my way through a box of paracetamol.

Meanwhile the boys have been saving their pocket money for months to buy a Wii and yesterday was the big day when they set off with a pile of cash to the shop. Much hilarity has followed.

They set up lots of characters based on family members. Needless to say that when you look and feel like a swamp monster it's nice to know your kids still see the best in you.
