First Skater

I was shocked today when I went to the park and saw that a few people were already skating.. It hasn't been THAT cold. It was today.. the high temp was about -7 but I would have been too scared to go on it for fear of falling through.

Anyways.. I got a nice silhouette of this guy going around and around backwards getting his skating legs back. Can't wait till there are tons of them and I can get some nice action shots.. They skate so gracefully. I love to watch them.

EDIT... I checked back through last year's blips.. They are skating 4 weeks earlier this year.. Gunna be a long cold winter.
