The sun this morning, taken on my Sony a-290 with a Minolta 70-300mm lens at 300mm. Shutter speed 1/2500s, f/5.6, ISO 100, using my Baader solar filter. Image comprises 10 images, processed in PIPP, stacked with Registax and false coloured with Photoshop. For the interested there were 40 images taken in total, but only 10 proved suitable for use!

AR1990 is moving to face us, will it emit another flare? Quite a nicely active sun today, with the new group from yesterday moving from the left upper limb towards the equator.
