whatever is lovely

Spring has sprung

It felt as though life was really on my side yesterday, there was a lot to be thankful for.
I started the day by handing in a piece of work that had been weighing down on me followed by a lovely coffee with my amazing flatmate Ruth. She is so interesting and encouraging.
I then had a really productive meeting and work session before a spontaneous lunch date with Bell. After my lecture I had one of those fun moments where you bump into basically everyone you know before standing outside and enjoying the sunshine with the Eleanor. We decided that it is such a joy be able to stand outside in the late afternoon and for it to still be light and sunny! Charlie Pearce then surprised me with a batch of delicious cookies and the most encouraging note. We worked for a bit then had a meeting with agape which was just great and reminded me how incredible and faithful our God is. Sadly I had to leave early to get to life group on time but, as usual, life group was great and through provoking too. It is sometimes nice to escape the student bubble and have a moment in real life with families.
All in all there was so much to be thankful for; sunshine, interesting things, kind and wonderful friends and so much more.
Good times.
