Not Desirable

Daughter didn't sleep much last night as her throat was very sore. This morning she didn't want to go to school.She had almost lost her voice. A trip to the Doctor followed and medication to be taken.

The main concern is her Higher Music (singing) exam on Monday. The doctor doesn't want her to dance in the show at the weekend as she feels she needs to rest completely to enable her voice to recover. Daughter is determined she will be well enough to perform in the show. She doesn't want to drop out as it is will be her last dancing show with this dancing school.

She has an appointment with her voice tutor tonight so although she won't be able to sing we are going to go anyway so that she can discuss concerns etc.

Meanwhile she is lying on the sofa watching A Streetcar Named Desire. Homework of sorts as they have just started reading this in English.
