The ‘Learn About’ fair is a staff development opportunity as well as an ideal event for networking with colleagues and discovering new information about particular topics. It enhances the work of the OU as it enables staff members of all categories to learn useful details about using technology in education which can influence the production and presentation of modules and inspire new research projects. It runs annually for 3 hours on a Wednesday, with a light lunch provided, to enable people to spend longer at the fair.

The 2014 fair takes place on 26 February from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm in the Jennie Lee Building at Walton Hall. The fair always focusses on educational technologies used for learning and teaching.

Some elements of this face-to-face event will be available online for remote participation. All staff members including Associate Lecturers are welcome to attend.
