Be still

When I slow down and observe the world around me, I'm left awestruck and in wonder of God's beauty. It's easy to spot in the oncoming glory of a sunrise or the intoxicating giggle of one of my kids, but in moments like this, with gentle morning light sweeping across an ordinary trash can in the corner of my quiet kitchen, I find unshakeable peace and gratitude for life's many blessings.
