In and around La Caleta, Costa Adeje, Tenerife.
Today was the first where it was forecast to have no clouds so we only ventured out to the local supermercado to buy minimals for lunch. Remainder spent soaking up sun & vit D, or avoiding same when it became too hot. Bummer, eh? As a consequence of our inactivity, there were no photo opporchancities so, as alluded to yesterday, here's a collage of La Caleta. (Not strictly true, as the rather salubrious bar is in Adeje – just thrown in to illustrate conditions away from the tourist zone.)
Collage, clockwise from top left:-
View south over La Caleta towards, eventually, Los Cristianos, Traditionalish architecture(?), Wee dug on a wall on the sea side walk way. It must be clapped and snapped hundreds of times each day. Wee dingys on the beach at La Caleta. Another view over La Caleta, South West towards S. America. Modern architecture. The bay north of La Caleta, c/w New Age encampment on the slopes beyond. The aforementioned bar.
Phew! Half way through this ordeal, already. ;-)
