Kinneil Church
This gable end is almost all that remains of an old 12th century church, which was abandoned as long ago as the 17th century. It sits in Kinneil Estate, which is a great place to walk and includes the ruins of an old cottage used by John Roebuck and James Watt when they were undertaking experiments on the development of the steam engine. Anyway, we managed to find a spell of beautiful weather sandwiched in between the rain and grey skies.
