Walking through the civil rights museum and visiting the motel where MLK was assassinated. I only really knew about MLK as a civil rights leader, but at the museum I learned about his role in advocating for the poor and campaigning for peace during the Vietnam war. The volume of what he achieved at such an early age is astounding. It was a real inspiration not to waste time and work hard to contribute something to this world.
