The Carlton

At the corner of North Bridge and the High Street in Edinburgh sits the Carlton hotel. It is one of those buildings that I think is often missed, but when you take the time to stop and look it is clear what an impressive structure it is.

I think it is often overlooked because your eye tends to be drawn to the shops and bank that occupy the ground floor. However today, probably because of the bright blue sky, the building really stood out.
