CCC: Peacock Butterfly

See its scaly wings in large ("L").

I was just sneaking up on this butterfly when two dons (well, a don and his guest) passed and sent it fluttering by. I'm not sure whether they spotted me or not (I was wearing green, and in the edge of a flower bed); if they did, then they certainly didn't acknowledge my presence (or their having scared off my subject...). I can't tell whether people prefer to ignore me when I'm creeping about in the flower beds, or whether my camouflage colouration really is effective.

Oh well, at least I took photos on my approach, even if I didn't get quite the composition/alignment that I was after.
