Monostones

Went for a walk on Ham Hill this morning with my friend Roger and Carly the retriever. They still quarry the golden hamstone here and were digging out earth from the quarry. We guessed that thess stones had been laid round the edge of the quarry as a warning to careless ramblers!

Bearing in mind earthdreamery's comments yesterday about blipping in mono, I rather liked how mono emphasised the shadows of the stones and the textures of the earth, especially when you go large.

I keep forgetting about paladian's Mono Monday challenge, so this is a late entry for this week; I'll try to remember to be on time next Monday
