Bygone days

This old barge has been sitting at the side of the unused canal in Port Dundas, Glasgow, for more years than I care to mention. It has a really big deep hull and no engine.

My guess is it was probably pulled by a horse or horses and carried coal to fuel the power station and other works that were in the area in the 1930s-1960s.
