Soothing sunset.

Sometimes it's hard to find the time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and sometimes we just forget to treasure those basic everyday things which make us smile.

My evening stroll is one of those times. Yes, it is often in the torrential rain...but even then the fresh air and time to myself are something I enjoy. The time to unwind and a chance to ponder my own thoughts ahead of the evening are something I treasure.

However, I am reminded more so of how much of a simple pleasure my walk is when I am treated to seeing the sun set.
