Watch the Birdie

We decided to go out for a drive this afternoon in the Angus hills, dodging between the heavy showers and aiming for the areas with blue sky above. We did our usual thing of random left and right turns, to see where it would take us and we found some lovely new roads and superb scenery.

What we didn't expect to see was this fine eagle sculpture soaring above a private garden in the middle of nowhere! It was presumably the work of the resident artist, as there was a similar swan under construction at the back of the property.

Amazing what you see when you're not looking for it!
