In the rest room - but nobody is resting.

The last of my large prints that have been installed around the site.
I have to say that this isn't as strong visually compared to the other mast shot, but, it shows the mast and main warehouse from the country park outside.
The blocks are the remains of the base for what was one of the huge short wave masts that existed here for many years.

After the masts were dismantled, the land was handed to the local authority to use as the country park and the site reduced to the warehouse and office buildings with the current mast just outside the compound.

The area is of historical interest so no building can be done (something that wasn't known or an issue when the site was originally constructed in the 1930s). This applies to both the park land inside the compound with major archeological works needed beforehand if anything does get done. As a consequence, I suspect that the whole area will now remain like this for a long time.

As for the rest room…..
