A day of staff reviews and performance appraisals. The process could be so positive if it wasn't so structured and box ticky.

I used to enjoy doing them. They were a good chance to catch up with people, pass on thanks for continued support and diligence, put faces to names and reinforce friendships.

Sadly our self perpetuating HR group are structuring the life out if it and I leave the days reviews feeling more weary than enthused.

Hopefully none of the above feelings came across to our excellent engineers, who continue to make me look good in front of Clients; for which I am very grateful.
