Wicker Man

We are back home after a protracted journey with numerous diversions.

The dog squeezed into the back with the bags as we collected her from the kennels near Rotherham - a task made easier as we had left Mr kagsy behind in Exeter for a meeting!

We entertained ourselves with silly games and singing along to songs the kids have liked over the years - Baby Got Back really is a most inappropriate song to sing with your 17 year old son...
I loved the look on David's face when I sang along to I've Never Been to Me by Charlene (which I hasten to add was on the radio not my ipod). Another truly dodgy song for different reasons.

So here's the Bridgewater wicker man to represent our drive today - taken by David hanging out the window and using the wrong lens entirely - my fault - I think he might make a photographer yet.

Great to be home - hope to catch up on your journals - thank you for all the lovely comments you have left while I was away.
