Aileen, from Strathaven, who is Skip of Team GB wheelchair curling team, had time for some practice this afternoon at Hamilton before heading for Sochi later in the week and the start of the 2014 Paralympics.

The all Scottish team are hoping to improve on the 6th place achieved by the 2010 Team GB at the Vancouver games.

The venue is familiar to the team as the last World Championships were held in Sochi.

TV coverage of the games will be on Channel 4.
