In the 1950's and many years before that this was
just a shelter - very useful on rainy days and also
as a changing room where it was a delight to exchange
cold wet sandy swimming costumes for dry clothes.
Now transformed into not just a cafe but an icon of
excellence with an atmosphere of yesteryear and memories
of home cooking brought alive. A special place to be all year
round. Not surprisingly it has been visited by a television
crew who have taken it over for today.
