The Baby in the Orange Tree

A well kept secret
revealed to us this morning,
small, silent and grey

D noticed our resident hummingbird was feeding its baby today. Both were perched out on a bare branch of the orange tree in our backyard. He came in to tell me to grab my camera and come outside. By that time, Mama was gone but Baby was poised grooming itself and watching all around. I didn't get to see the two together but I will be watching out for them.
