Clangula hyemalis

Just had an excellent day wandering the seafront at Levenhall Links with Penny Bun and Pete (Mr PB). A great blipmeet, and some great birds, including more oystercatchers than you could shake a stick at and some velvet scoters very close inshore. Also lovely views of these long-tailed ducks :)
Penny Bun was very intrepid, and added positive data to the hypothesis that one is never disappointed when you meet a blipper whom you subscribe to in real life. Thank you for a great day and great company, C.
We went to the SMWS with Meles, later on. She had finally gone to the doctor with her cough and got some medicine which I hope will help. I think Pete was quite enamoured of the single cask malts....
