I tried a few night time shots, but this was the one struck me as most striking.
It is the window of a nursing home for the elderly, those of advanced years, who will be tucked up early. The stairs are empty - just a solitary light in a wall. Those in the home will have been parents when I was watching Playschool - looking through the arched window, or the square window...
