Bug Boat
Spent the morning wandering about Alexandra basin. Met Pat, a General Operative worker who was waiting to assist in offloading some enormous flat-packed wind turbines, bound for the midlands somewhere. Enjoyable conversation. We exchanged contact numbers. On a nearby dock they must have been offloading grain/animal feed (Pat says they call them 'bug boats') because there was that spilt sawdusty grain everywhere and the air was full of birds: gulls, geese, pigeons, etc. It gets in the eyes, especially on blustery days such as today.
