Choices

This small junction is a constant reminder of the choices we make in life. To the left the old ways and to the right the more modern lined road.
I choose the middle ground and try to take what's best from both. While I love the old traditions I would never consider ignoring the leaps and bounds made in our new, for the most part, better lifestyle.
I spent the day enjoying the snowdrop carpeted woods of Black Hills, planting my garden, collecting sea glass and wandering the old farms. I love the old red barns, the wrought iron gates and the cut stone granite pillars. I also love my latte coffee, my car and my early retirement. The best of both worlds....just saying
