When the squirrels get involved

Really, no human had a hand in planting this walnut tree. I cleared the space around it of the choking junipers and planted the pretty and surprisingly tall primroses but the squirrels planted and did all the tending. Exactly what my yard didn't need was another tree and I am not going to see a nut off this tree for many years. Not that it bares no fruit, but the squirrels gather all of it before it is close to ripe as though afraid that they will have to share. Greedy devils.
