The swimming sports

Well looked after children last night as parents had to be up at 4.30am to send away their weaner pigs. My job get up the 4 and 6 year old dress them feed them and get the six year old to school and deliver the 4 year old to her granny.
School swimming sports were on so of course I went to egg on the six year old. Boiling hot sun and eventually Honour had her moment of being in the limelight. Her age group were to either walk or swim across the pool as they were able. Honour was capable of swimming but I was impressed as an older child walked along side of her as she swam and she did really well. Being the doting surrogate granny I was justly proud of her achievement for her age.
At the school she is in the yellow house called McKillop for a saint that was just canonised. Mary McKillop used to teach in this region so has been to the forefront in the Catholic churches around here over the past few years. So of course I was supposed to yell out come on McKillop. So went my day and am just back from having a beautiful roast pork dinner at the grandmothers. Just reward for doing my good deed but as I always say whatever you do for someone else usually gets repaid a hundred fold.
So on now to being a good Presbyterian for the next few days as within our Parish we have a book launch on Saturday night followed by a dinner. Tomorrow early am I have to set up a display of said book. That will probably be my blip for tomorrow, One good thing about living in a small community it does not matter what your religion is you all work in together.
