Portrait Of A Puppeteer
I interviewed Eugene Lambert in the Lambert Puppet Theatre foyer/museum in Monkstown, Co Dublin, and took some photos for an article in the 46A, a local magazine. He was very patient and happy to talk about his life: his arrival in Dublin as a young man (in Westland Row I think) with a suitcase full of puppets, Wanderly Wagon, the ambitious puppet show they did (based on a Yeats play or poem?), filmed by RTE but erased and recorded over, as was the policy in those days.
