The Hall

We spent a wonderful afternoon and evening with friends yesterday. The evening stretched on rather longer than expected. Well fed and watered and in good company we were all reluctant to bring our time together to a close! Therefore yesterday's picture had to be back-blipped.

Today's picture is of Rushden Hall. Set in beautiful grounds in the centre of the town this is the oldest residence in the town. Some parts of it date to the 14th century but it has seen many alterations and additions. It is now owned by the local Council and the grounds are a public park. The flower beds are planted with Spring flowers that may well be worth another visit in a couple of weeks.
