Let me in!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for all your lovely comments on Sav's latest picture yesterday. Keep nagging him to set up a website - he's numb to my nags!

I wanted to give the downstairs carpets a treat by applying some cleaning powder to them. It says you can still walk on them once it's on and you're waiting the half an hour to vacuum it off again, but I don't like the idea of the cats getting it on their paws.

Shadow was no problem, he hates the vacuum cleaner and goes out as soon as it emerges from the cupboard. Arfa was fast asleep upstairs until the second I'd finished applying the powder, then he wanted to prowl around downstairs!

I put him out for his own good, but he spent the whole time tapping frantically on the patio door to be let back in again! Incidentally, he's learned this manoeuvre from Shadow. He never used to do it, but saw Shadow instructing us to open doors for him this way and picked it up! Not as daft as he looks. Well, he is, but that's why we love him.

Carpets are clean, little cakes are baked for tomorrow and cats + Sav are asleep upstairs.

The cakes are for Mary, who is two years old today, but I can't get to see her til tomorrow. I can't wait!!!! I guess you already know what the subject of tomorrow's blip will be, huh?!
