Buo

Most of a buoy.
I went up to The Loons reserve. A fair number of birds but nothing unusual- teal, mallard, wigeon, goldeneye, coot, gadwall, lapwing, greylag and a couple of pink-footed geese etc.. A singing skylark was nice, and there were a few later too. I walked to Marwick, then south for Skaill. The wind was supposed to be SE, which would have been OK, but it had got bored with that direction and blew hard in my face the whole way to the Bay of Skaill. More shots here.
