Creature from the Black Lagoon

Well our pond actually! Gave the pond a clear out to collect the leaves that had fallen in over the last few days. When I emptied the net this monster wriggled out. It is a Dragonfly Nymph, will be a wonderful Hunter of the skies next year,seems almost ready to metamorph, hope she doesn't ,far too early! We need some Frosts!!
