New Earth...
Spring has sprung in the far south! Farmers are turning the soil, the olive harvest is over and we’re getting regular waterings from a very un-Mediterranean sky.
(Our most recent downpour dumped shed loads of damp dust on us from the Sahara...)
Anyway, I love the ever-so-slightly curving lines of the furrows (cut by mule-drawn plough – no tractors here) and I also love artichokes – a perfect combination!
Now, I really want to know what seeds have been sown…?
