Senior Benefit

A big day for Rick! We went to Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve today. Because he is 65 years young, he was able to pay $10.00 for a Senior Pass. He will be able to get into every national Park in the country free with this pass, and I benefit. Everyone in the car with him gets in free! We have always loved Ding Darling, but was disappointed today...it has overgrown to the point where we didn't see much wildlife. We saw white pelicans, ibis, cormorants, a close encounter with an osprey, some fish, a tree frog and many geckoes. No alligators, which is what we were looking for! Tonight back to Sanibel for dinner at Sanibel Steak House. Robert, Richie, Danielle and Jillian all work there. We shall have fun! Maybe we'll see an alligator!
