.... here we see the quaint Scottish tradition of the Sun Dance. Similar in many ways to the better known Rain Dance. This regional variation involves a man in a skirt scaring the bejesus out of the rain clouds in the hope the sun will shine through.

As evidenced by the wet floor at the feet of the piper, clearly the results are somewhat mixed.
