Last day of school

My boss John retired today. He's off to enjoy a new house, in a place close to his heart, and I wish him all the best.

At my job interview he asked me to write a description of a roll of duct tape 'for someone with perfect English but no technical knowledge'. I gather that a previous interviewee was asked to describe the British road system to Tarzan. I wrote two sides on my duct tape but I think I would have struggled to explain roundabouts to your man!
