Green and Red

Coming thick and fast they were tonight, the Northern Lights themselves and the photos of the Northern Lights. I flicked through some real beauties too as I stood out in the cold watching the green fingers sprout above the Ochil Hills but could just about make out some red flashes too with the naked eye. The camera picked them up much better though as they headed even further south.

Much better than from the same spot a couple of years back. Not bad at all for way down in the Central Belt of Scotland, and sure they must've been mighty impressive further north of this.

A few more to look through, but that can wait 'til tomorrow now.
