Missed It
Down to Club Bazaar for pizza and their fantastic deserts with a friend who's off in Jan to work for the Red Cross in Afganistan. She just got back from Peshawar not so long ago with many fascinating tales to tell. Amazing work they do, whilst we sip our latte, nibble on a muffin at the local cafe and complain about the price of going to the movies these days.
A beautiful sunset shone under late norwest cloud as we came home past the estuary. The light was incredible, almost metallic. But it had faded to nothing by the time I got up the back with my camera. To mourn the fact, I chose black and white for this. After missing a display like that, there didn't seem any point in colour.
